My daughter has been taking piano lessons for about six months now and, so far, she has been progressing so much! She breezed through beginner’s classes to seriously take up the first level. She’s now a few weeks away towards Level 2. I am so proud of her, considering I tried learning piano when I was at her age and I didn’t really like it. My daughter practices on her own every day and can’t wait until her studio sessions start.
Not having a penchant for piano back then, I learned to play the drums instead. My mom, ever so supportive, got me a drum set that I could practice with. Anyway, at least I learned the basics and I can’t wait until I finally play percussion background to my little soon-to-be concert pianist.
